Increasing youth workers competences in social inclusion and youth empowerment
This seminar took place on 17-23 June in Kraków, Poland and was organised within our Erasmus+ Accreditation in the field of youth for the years 2022-24. 20 youth workers from 9 EU NGOs have participated.
The aim of the seminar: Increasing youth workers competences in social inclusion and youth empowerment. It has enabled both adapting working methods to changing circumstances, refining the content and a modern approach to the next planned exchanges (on various topics connected to social inclusion) as well as efficient supporting of young people during exchange projects covered by our accreditation.
The seminar covered the following topics (in the context of future youth exchanges on these topics):
– Increasing the chances of European youth on the labor market and a better fit to current challenges,
– Strengthening the involvement of European youth in society and promoting social inclusion,
– To discover and analyze less obvious meanings of inclusion and youth empowerment,
– Promoting active participation of youth in democratic processes, especially voting in elections, with special focus on youth from outside of EU (ie. Armenia, Ukraine, etc).
We have produced 2 main results: a publication containing an analysis of our experience and knowledge exchange as well as topics and tools to be implemented in subsequent exchanges, and 2 youth exchange formats in the topic of inclusion (Szentendre – Project and Youth programme Kraków) which can be later implemented by other NGOs.
The project has been financed by the European Union.
