“Ferie z curlingiem” – Winter activities for youth – Curling

Curling is an olimpic sport very popular in North America and Scandinavia but almost unknown in Poland. That is why together with the Cracow Curling Club we decided to organise this event. Our main aim was to give youngsters from Krakow the possibility of spending their free time during winter holidays actively with such an interesting sport. Anyone who came to the ice field in Kraków had a chance to try to play. This was also the first such possibility in the city!!! The whole event was closed by a real curling game between the Cracow Curling Club representatives and the current Polish Champions – the Gipsy Kings from Katowice. Great thanks to the municipality of Krakow for giving us some financial support!
