” Youth inclusion for democracy “
This project was organised thanks to Erasmus+ KA1 Acreditation in the sector of Youth which our NGO obtained for the period 2022-24. This project is part of the second year of our acreditation.
The main aim of this mobility was: Strengthening the involvement of European youth in society and promoting social inclusion in 2023 through direct access to the nonformal education program to a group of 40 young people, including 20 people identifying themselves as people with fewer opportunities and/or excluded, and through additional promotional activities and disseminating results reaching to a wider group of several hundred young people. We have also promoted the participation of young people in democratic life, support social and civic engagement and strive to provide all young people people the means necessary to participate in society.
The youth exchange has taken place on 21-29.10.2023 in Wierzchosławice, a little town famous for its political history – it was here were the oldest Polish political party PSL was born, with the famous leader of peasants movement, prime minister Wincenty Witos. The town is very near to a historical city of Tarnów, about 70km away from Kraków. The exchange was attended by young people from 5 countries: Armenia, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Ukraine, 7 youth plus 1 leader from each country, a total of 40 people. The main methods of work are – workshops, presentations, discussion on the forum, happening, conversations with residents, tourists, peers, working with social media, using English, evaluation activities, national evenings, reflections and informal impressions. Each of us participated in the project through their involvement and support for colleagues, active participation in the implementation of the schedule, gaining knowledge and exchanging opinions. After the exchange each participant and organisation was involved in dissemination activities, including promotion in social media channels.
The exchange participants also developed several interesting presentations for their peers, which present the most important aspects of democratic processes and social inclusion, chosen by them. Download below:
